Responsible gambling and safe gambling advice is available at land-based casinos. Finally, the new Code of Conduct intends to increase access to information and link those seeking help and treatment. It supplements the Industry Code for the Display of Safer Gambling Information, issued in March 2021.
BGC CEO Michael Dugher applauded the revised Code of Conduct for providing simple access to information and treatment resources through informative communications. He said the signs will be at all Council retail outlets. Finally, Dugher said, “This crucial code is solid proof of this industry’s willingness to drive up safer gambling standards for millions of UK customers, wherever they wager, and follows similar work by our online members.”
