HungryBear’s Slot Masters will get a new game called Light & Wonder.
HungryBear Gaming has reached a deal with Light & Wonder, Inc. (formerly Scientific Games Interactive) to distribute its multiplayer Slots Masters game through the latter’s vast network of online operators.
Slot Masters has integrated the cross-platform game into the OPENGAMINGTM platform, allowing hundreds of Light & Wonder operators to play it. Each operator will launch the game on their own platform in the coming weeks and months.
Slot Masters is offered at no cost. However, the lab and studio are reportedly in the final stages of developing a real-money version of the game. This version should be accessible before the end of the year.
The groundbreaking, first-of-its-kind game pits three players against each other to see who can get the highest score. Players can improve their own scores while lowering their opponents’ by using a variety of offensive and defensive moves.
Some players will be familiar with the title because it has already been used in free-to-play tournaments on big sites like Jackpot Joy, Virgin brands, Foxy Bingo, Ladbrokes, and Gamesys/Bally brands, among others. Players had a lot of fun at the tournaments, which were held earlier this year.
As more Light & Wonder operators sign up to carry the game in the coming weeks, you can expect different operators to start their own online and TV marketing campaigns based on the game’s availability. Slot Masters should have its own homepage tab in casino lobbies so that it is easy to find and tell apart from other games.
When it was used for the first time this year in a tournament, it proved its worth. According to an announcement made by the two companies together, data shows that a lot of players come back to the game every day, with both session times and player days going up in a sharp way. The positive response should provide operators with a new way to attract and retain players.
