PokerStars is making waves in the poker, metaverse, and iGaming worlds with its Virtual Reality (VR) solution. Quest Pro owners can play PokerStars VR when the solution launches on October 25. Flutter Entertainment’s company has been working on VR poker for years, testing different solutions and creating a prototype early on.

Meta’s device makes full-color passthrough possible. It focuses on mixed reality, face, and eye tracking, and other technologies that increase player satisfaction and immersion.

Quest Pro will be able to adapt to the user’s environment so that it works best for them. The solution comes with a key upgrade that will make the experience more social and let players see more realistic facial expressions, choose from a variety of customizable avatars, and do a lot more.

PokerStars VR manager James O’Reilly remarked, “We want to push the frontiers of emerging technologies to make a fun, real, social casino game with no limits.” O’Reilly said that the team was proud to be a part of Meta’s Quest Pro solution and how it can change virtual reality.
