Caesar's 54th WSOP comes to Las Vegas in 2023.

After a successful 2022 series with 197,626 participants from more than 100 countries and the largest prize pool to date of $347.9 million, Las Vegas-based Caesars Entertainment has announced that the 54th annual World Series of Poker will return to Las Vegas, this time at Paris Las Vegas and Bally’s Las Vegas, from May 30 to July 18.

Caesar’s first WSOP tournament, held in 1970 at Horseshoe Las Vegas, inspired the modern poker content provider’s tournament.

Tournament:

The tournament will include a Main Event called the $10.000 No-Limit Hold-em World Championship, which will again have four starting days for players to choose from—July 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th—and an Opening Event called Mystery Millions, a $1,000 buy-in No-Limit tournament with prizes ranging from $10.000 to $1 million for each knockout round and a $1m first prize, among other well-known events.

Players can also play Day 2 on July 7 or 8 due to the Main Event’s very deep stacks!

WSOP.com also hosts a monthly Main Event freeroll. First-time depositors only!

The 2022 Main Event was the second-largest field in live poker history, with roughly 9,000 players and a prize pool of $80,782,475 million. The inaugural event, won by poker veteran Matt Glantz, had 14,112 players and a $1,000,000 prize pool.

Full Schedule Coming

Caesars has announced the dates and site of the WSOP 2023 tournament, but the entire itinerary is forthcoming.

“The historic premiere of the WSOP on the Las Vegas Strip delivered in a major way, and we’re delighted to announce our Summer 2023 dates in time for the holidays,” said World Series of Poker Senior Vice President and CEO Ty Stewart. Poker players and fans may now mark their calendars and book WSOP trips for themselves or loved ones as holiday gifts. We’re excited to return to Paris Las Vegas and the upcoming Horseshoe Las Vegas, which hosted last year’s tournament.

“With more than six months to go from the start of the next WSOP, you can already feel the anticipation growing at our properties,” said Paris and Horseshoe Las Vegas SVP and General Manager Jason Gregorec. Poker’s biggest event returned to The Strip after spectacular occasions.

Early booking discounts will be offered at all tournament locales.
