This development approach helps FanDuel introduce a new generation of horse racing lovers by investing in customer experience. The improved platform contains several features for the future audience.
FanDuel Group provides sports-tech entertainment in 50 states to 17 million users. Flutter Entertainment plc, the largest sports betting and gambling operator, owns it. It rebranded its TVG network as FanDuel TV in September 2022 to focus on horse racing and sports betting.
Their broadcasts races from Churchill Downs, Santa Anita, Del Mar, Keeneland, Gulfstream Park, and other important US and foreign tracks. FanDuel TV and FanDuel+, America’s first linear/digital sports wagering networks, air more live sports than any other network on linear cable.
FanDuel TV will stream racing coverage and other programming for which the New York operator has betting rights. In 2023, its sportsbook customers can wager on the Kentucky Derby and watch live horse racing from prominent U.S. tracks.
Their clients have to create a new account before the rollout. After the successful rollout of the merged wallet/single account feature, they preserved a horse racing parimutuel wallet. In New York, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, West Virginia, Wyoming, Michigan, Colorado, and Virginia, the operator offers the feature. The company will add states to the integrated feature early next year.
“Horse racing is a huge part of our DNA,” said FanDuel Group CEO Amy Howe. This is a great chance to introduce a wider, engaged audience to the sport in a familiar setting.” FanDuel Group continues to employ its portfolio of leading gaming, sports betting, daily fantasy sports, and TV/media businesses to change how customers engage with their favorite sports, teams, and leagues for mutual benefit.
