Rush Street Gaming’s SYNKROS casino management system now incorporates Portsmouth, Virginia’s Rivers Casino Portsmouth.

Rush Street Gaming picked SYNKROS for its Virginia land-based casino, opening January 15, 2023. The fifth Rush Street Gaming SYNKROS casino is Rivers Casino Portsmouth.

Rivers Casino Portsmouth’s general manager, Roy Corby, stated Konami Gaming’s SYNKROS would power this “state-of-the-art gaming and entertainment complex” that was “built from the ground up” and “ready for real-time, personalized rewards and loyalty engagement.”

“It gives the property the capabilities to accomplish its short-term and long-term technology goals while preserving operational control over the complete casino,” Corby added.

Konami’s casino management system will integrate Rivers Casino Portsmouth’s 1,448 slot machines, 57 table games, poker room, sportsbook, restaurant, shops, and entertainment venues to simplify rewards, offers, communications, and other tasks.

Rush Street Gaming CEO Tim Drehkoff called Konami Gaming a “trusted partner” and its SYNKROS casino management system a “strong ecosystem” for any company that aspires to “be a winner in each of its marketplaces”. He trusted “the visitor experience SYNKROS helps support on the technical front.”

Rivers Casino Portsmouth’s Rush Rewards loyalty program will leverage SYNKROS’s full marketing suite when it starts next year.

Latest Technology Commitment

Konami Gaming’s senior vice president and COO, Tom Jingoli, praised Rush Street Gaming’s “entrepreneurial commitment to future technologies”. and “strong expansion and leading casino development in major metropolitan regions.”

Jingoli said Rivers Casino Portsmouth is the newest Rush Street success story. “We’ll assist with SYNKROS tools and technologies.”

Rush Street Gaming and Konami Gaming have collaborated at Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Des Plaines, Schenectady, and Portsmouth since 2009.
